Ordering & Payment

How do I cancel my order?

There is only a short amount of time between when you place your order and when the printshop start processing it in case of a custom order like a print. If you contact us straight away after ordering, we may be able to cancel your order before it's processed.

Originals and sketches will be send from the atelier, then you have 2 days to cancel your order, please be sure ordering at checkout.

Can I change my address?

If you require an address change, we must be notified right after purchase to ensure a referral. We cannot change the address once it has been shipped. Please contact us as soon as possible.

Wendy van Dodewaard is not responsible for undelivered packages based on incorrect shipping addresses provided by the customer. Please ensure you provide the complete and correct mailing address at checkout

Can I alter my order?

Sadly, we're unable to modify your order once we've started processing it. If you need to order a greater quantity or an additional product, please place a new order online.

Can I pay in installments?

You can pay Later or pay in 3 installments with Klarna.

Shipping & Delivery

What is the shipping policy?

The processing times for each item can be found in the product descriptions. Wendy is committed to shipping your orders as quickly as possible. Please note that sometimes there can be delays in shipping orders for any reason..We apologize in advance for any inconvenience caused and thank you for your patience.

If you require an address change, we must be notified within 24 hours of purchase to ensure a referral. We cannot change the address once it has been shipped. Please contact us as soon as possible via the contact page.

Duties and taxes

The studio is located in the Netherlands and is not liable for import costs for purchased products. This includes, but is not limited to, the commissioning of a custom piece, originals and art items.

Any applicable taxes and fees are not included in the checkout total. These are determined by customs in the destination country. Some countries charge import taxes, others do not. The customs agency will notify the recipient by mail, telephone or email to pay these charges so that the shipment can proceed to its destination.

It is the customer's responsibility to pay any import duties, VAT or other similar charges. If you refuse to pay these additional amounts, your delivery will be returned to us. Provided the product is in its original condition, we will refund the cost of your purchase (less the cost of shipping to your country).

How much does shipping cost?

All the original art (originals & sketches) you fell in love with is always shipped for free in the EU!

Originals are shipped from the studio to your home. Prints are a custom order and especially printed for you and shipped by the photo lab.

The shipping cost for the prints are:

5.95 for the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany

9.95 for EU orders

19.95 for International orders

When will my order arrive?

We will ship your order as soon as possible. Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email with further information. Delivery times vary depending on your location. Orders within the EU will be delivered within four to ten days, international delivery times outside the EU are 5-15 days. Please get in touch if your order hasn't been delivered according to the expected timescales, and we will check your order status.

Originals will be delivered within 4-6 weeks.

Do you ship worldwide?

Yes, most products ship worldwide!

Can I track my order?

Yes. We'll provide updates at every stage of your order, you'll receive a tracking reference which you can use to check the progress of your order online.

Nb. If you have not received an email about the status of your order after 3 days, please let me know and I will check it for you!

My order or package is damaged

If your order is damaged or incomplete, please take photos of the product in question and email our customer service hello@wendyvandodewaard.art with the details, and we will make it right. We'll respond within 48 hours.

We are not liable for goods once they are in the possession of the collector. It is not our duty to refund, exchange, replace or compensate by any means for the damage of products that have been mishandled by customers. For example: smudging fingerprints on the white border, tearing fine art prints, damaging works, etc.

As guaranteed under consumer protections, compensation for damage is due if/when damaged products are received when impacted by postal services and/or faulty merchandise has been dispatched. Each print and also original art (originals and sketches) is inspected before being packaged before shipment.

What is the return policy?

Returns for Faulty Goods

If your order is damaged or incomplete, please take photos of the product in question and the package, email our customer service as soon as possible but within 14 days after recieving the item: hello@wendyvandodewaard.art with the details, and we will make it right. We'll respond within 48 hours.

Returns for Non-Faulty Goods within the European Union

For non-faulty items, customers inside the European Union have the right to cancel and return their order within 14 days of receiving it, in line with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. The item must be in its original condition and in original package.

*Due to the nature of prints and art books (custom made and printed especially for you), prints are not eligible for return.If you have concerns about a specific item, please contact us before initiating a return.​ The printshop doesn't accept returns, do not return the shipment without contact us. Your order will not be reimbursed.

Non-Returnable Items

Due to the nature of prints and art books (custom made and printed especially for you), prints are not eligible for return.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you of the refund status. If approved, refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 14 days. Please note that processing times may vary depending on your bank or credit card provider.​ A return is always your responsibility. Shipping costs for all returned items will not be covered by the studio

For any return inquiries, please reach out to us by our contact page and let us know. Shipping costs for all returned items returned in good faith will not be covered by the studio. We'll give you a complete refund as soon as we receive the returned item.

Certificate of Authenticity

Do I recieve a Certificate Of Authenticity?

Yes you do! With every original painting on canvas you will receive a certificate of authenticity. Handsigned by the artist. Sketches and prints are not included.
