This collection was a path where it was very difficult to move forward at the start, but along the way I found more and more joy and perfectionism fell away. I could work lighter and more freely. Each painting was a new adventure to search for the boundaries of the material and new combinations and colors without fear, knowing every 'mistake' lead to something new and beautifull. 
Previously I always looked forward to the end result, but nowadays I enjoy the process in its many stages so much that the end result not only gives satisfaction but especially gratitude for the blessing that I experience that I can create in such freedom. How I love it! Living life freely at the feet of the Creator. Coram deo.
This collection is therefore not a collection that is all made with the same medium or colour. But more the message that it carries with it, ensures the unity between the paintings:
Letting go of the worldly and clinging to what God wants to give. Sheltering in the storm, finding peace with our Heavenly Father. Receiving strength by finding joy in Him. Living close to His heart and hearing His voice so that He can give His wisdom and guidance. Living pure and clean for Him in the plan He has for your life. And looking forward to Him in loving expectation.
For me 'Aligning with Heaven' is to be more and more the person Who God made me to be. Through the power of the Holy Spirit. By following Him, seeking Him, I see Him better. And by seeing better Who He is: I know better who I am.
